Alkamia strives to improve this situation through a comprehensive approach which incorporates potable water, sanitation and hygiene education as the key elements in the reduction of poverty and growth of life. By focusing on projects that include these three elements, the impacts are long-lasting and far reaching.

Essentially, problems in water quality that are usually addressed with acid, peroxide, chlorine or other oxidants are probably prime candidates for ozone treatment. If ozone cannot be used to treat a water quality problem, it is likely that no other available oxidant will do the job either.
Ozone treated drinking water can be expected to be: cleaner, clearer, colorless, nonstaining, odorless, palatable, safer, and oxygenated.
