You may have read coconut oil is not good for you, fattening and stay away from it. Today we are better info rmed; realizing the opposite is true. Coconut oil is mainly made up of medium-chain triglycerides, instead of the long- chain triglycerides that are found in most other oils. Medium chains are almost immediately converted to energy. They are absorbed by the intestinal wall, and transported to the liver directly; thus ensuring more energy due to the quick burning process. Truly this is a wonder oil with many health benefits.

Studies show because of this process, our metabolic rate will increase dramatically. Our bodies process coconut oil so effectively that the butterfly-shaped thyroid gland, is triggered; therefore' increasing our metabolism.
